The 10th of October 2020 marked the 100 year anniversary of James Brown’s death. We had been hoping to present a series of events to commemorate the occasion in 2020 but these had to be postponed until August 2021 when we were able to have an exhibition about James Brown’s life and work in the Mill on the Fleet.
The centenary of James Brown’s death was marked with a champagne toast in the Kirk and ringing the Kirk bell.
