Kirkandrews Kirk is available for use for religious services and other functions. Click through the images below to see some of the events that we have hosted.
It is a particularly delightful location for a wedding or a christening. Click here for a document with more wedding information.
All denominations and faiths are welcome to use the kirk. A minister or celebrant of your choice can be invited to take the service. For practical purposes, the kirk falls under the umbrella of the Church of Scotland, and the minister of Gatehouse & Borgue, linked with Twynholm and Tarff, currently Rev. Val Ott, hosts most kirk services, including weddings.
The Kirk seats about 50 people with limited standing room. Kirkandrews is a tiny, tranquil settlement and there is limited room for parking vehicles. Click here for more information about parking. Please note that the building is approached via several steps and is not wheelchair accessible.
We do not charge a fee for the use of the Kirk but we invite a donation. The average donation for a wedding ceremony is in the region of £250 but all donations are gratefully received and contribute towards the cost of maintaining and restoring the kirk for the future. We request that you make your donation in advance of your event to confirm your booking.
If you are a UK taxpayer, we would be grateful if you would complete a Gift Aid form, which will increase the value of your donation to Kirkandrews Kirk. To donate by cheque, please make cheques payable to “Kirkandrews Kirk Trust” and send them to:
