We are pleased to announce a range of events in Kirkandrews Kirk in November and December. On Wednesday, November 25th, we will host the Kirkandrews Christmas Fair, with a range of locally produced art and craft items for sale. The Bookshop Band from Wigtown will be making their first appearance at the Kirk on Friday, November 27th and we welcome back the Mochara Flute Duo for two concerts in early December. They will be accompanied at these concerts by harpist Sophie Rocks. We have author Richard Warrick speaking about his book “Restless Lanes” in which he recounts his solo, unsupported cycle ride from Land’s End to John o’ Groats on Saturday, November 28th.
We end the year with two events on Sunday, December 20th with an afternoon Winter Solstice Fireside Retreat, hosted by Peter Fairbrother and our annual candlelight Carol Service at 7 p.m.
